The development of Alamo Heights began when the historic Anderson Ranch was bought in 1890. Estate-style homes were constructed, and the Anderson mansion was converted into The Argyle Hotel. Initially connected to downtown San Antonio by a dusty carriage ride or by river in a canoe, increased travel to the area soon necessitated a train line followed by a paved “River Avenue.”

These days, Alamo Heights is known for its excellent city services, world-class schools and unmatched proximity to everything that living well requires. 7600 Broadway sits at the intersection of a well-designed grid for easy access to every corner of the city and with the property’s unparalleled location, you likely won’t have to venture very far.
